The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and its people the 11's. A Britannian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he'd destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11's who've stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. While Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Britannia's brand new prototype Knightmare, Lancelot, Lelouch becomes the masked Zero to lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.

Another amusing anime series where the main character which are not really from Japan, offers to help their poor cowardly peoples to stand out and rebels! Lelouch, with his Geass power that can control anyone he can see eye-to-eye and his genius mind will challenge the biggest empire in the world, which are Brittania that colonized the place he currently live. However he has many motive on doing that, one of them is to get his father's approval. Lelouch is being underestimated by his father when he was a child, and he is very frustrated because of that.

Why does Code Geass : Lelouch of the Rebellion / R2 (sequel) is worth to watch? this anime shows how does one man try to challenge Brittania that are known throughout the world with its power and technology. Sometimes we can win even without power... with good strategy and the power of Geass! Lelouch's team of rebellion started with only few member, but grown to dozen of followers when he starts to work on his genius plans and strategy to defeat Brittania Empire!

However, Lelouch not only fighting with Brittania's forces... he also fighting with his own family! which are known with their fearsome fighting skills and brilliant strategist, can he defeat them? you will have to watch to know.

Nothing much can i say about this anime series, because there is just too much exciting and adrenaline episodes. Just watch few episodes and you will get hooked with it! Suitable for those who loves mecha/mystery/love etc.
