Have you ever wondered what would the world turn to if everyone could 'Magic'? In Fullmetal Alchemist anime series, this 'magic' are produced by 'Alchemist', a scientist that have found a way to transmute alchemy. Yes, it is a work of science! however one can not produce something without sacrificing a thing in return, this is called 'Code of Alchemist'. For example, you need an iron as base ingredient to produce weapon, yes its sound normal.. but it is produced instantly without use of other mechanism's aid!

Summary
After losing their mother, Alphonse and Edward Elric attempt to bring her back using the forbidden science of human alchemy. However, alchemy operates on the theory of equivalent trade, and breaking the human alchemy taboo carries a heavy price. Ed loses his leg, and Al loses his body. Ed is able to seal Al's soul inside of a huge suit of armor, at the cost of his arm.

Years later, Ed (now with two mechanical limbs) and Al (still trapped in the armor) leave their childhood home, each brother concerned with the other's happiness. Ed, who has a natural talent and skill for alchemy, becomes nationally certified and is soon known everywhere as the "Fullmetal Alchemist." Their true objective is to search for any information on the fabled Philosopher's Stone, hoping it will allow them to regain their old bodies. All of their hopes rest with this mythical stone, which may not even exist at all. However, the brothers soon learn that they are not the only ones after the powerful stone...

A magnificent story about a brothers that trying their best to make up for their past mistakes.. a serious mistakes. With strong genre of science, brotherhood and slice of life, Fullmetal Alchemist becomes one of the most popular anime series in the world. For me myself, i learned a lot from this anime series.. about life.

With many peoples supporting them along their ways, a lot of things happened.. usually tragic.The most tragic incident would be about Hughes, a friend of Elric Bothers who helped them a lot in their quest for philosopher's stone.

Being a lovely dad and husband, State Military Officer Maes Hughes (Hughes) are one of the best character in the series. He is dedicated to his family, even in workplace, you can say he is the best dad ever! He often mumbling about his daughter's cuteness to characters of Fullmetal Alchemist, a kind of energenic and cheerful character. However he died in the hands of one that after the Philosopher's Stone, after he found more information of it, the enemy founds out and killed him mercilessly...

killed by whom you ask? well... Homunculus!

serve as the main antagonists in Fullmetal Alchemist. They are a group of artificially created humans who seek to fulfill their leader's goals of creating a Philosopher's Stone. They can be identified by their bearing of the mark of the Ouroboros somewhere on their body, usually in places symbolic with their identities. Each Homunculus is named after one of the seven deadly sins which are Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Greed, Sloth, Wrath and Pride.

Homunculus are created when someone performs a human transmutation to revive a dead person. If they failed to revive the intended person, it will instead create a homunculus that looks almost exactly like the deceased target. These Homunculuses are led by Dante. The only way to kill a homunculus is by finding a remnant of their original body (a bone, hair, etc.) and having it near them, weakening them and making them susceptible to death.

The Homunculus characters was incredible, each of them have their own special powers that could kill Elric Bothers instantly, for example Lust have the power to extend her fingers that could pierce anything in a distance and Greed have the power to harden his body as hard as titanium, but they won't... because Elric Brothers will help them to find the Philosopher's Stone! each of the Homunculus has their own attitude, but are controlled by Dante, who is she? well, you have to watch Fullmetal Alchemist for it!
